The 2014 California Extreme Precipitation Symposium was held in June 2014 at UC Davis.  The theme for the Symposium was “Estimating Probable Maximum Precipitation in Mountainous Watersheds.”  The Symposium proceedings, including presentations and audio, can be found here.
