Watershed Monitoring Reports - Upper Feather River Watershed, Water Years 1998-2013

Title
Watershed Monitoring Reports - Upper Feather River Watershed, Water Years 1998-2013
Abstract
This report includes data from continuous recording flow stations operated by Plumas Corporation, as well flow stations operated by the US Geological Survey (USGS), California Department of Water Resources (DWR), and US Forest Service (USFS).
Purpose
The FRCoordinated Resource Management initiated systematized monitoring in the Feather River watershed in 1999 to establish baseline data for assessing long-term trends in watershed condition and the potentially significant effects of restoration projects on watershed function. Most of the monitoring effort was concentrated in the Indian Creek subwatershed because of its highly degraded upper watershed condition, and high potential for benefit from restoration with many linear miles of channels in alluvial settings.
